Fitness Tax Credit
What is it?
The government proposed in 2007, a tax credit on eligible amounts of up to $500 per year paid by parents to register a child in an eligible program of physical activity.
How does it work?
The Tavistock Tornadoes Soccer Club at the end of the year will provide a receipt for the registration fees paid for the year. They players covered are “under 16 at anytime during the year”. You will submit this when you file your tax return.
